Spring Adventure Day: Animals in Spring

Monday, April 15 | 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. | Riverside Park

It's time to welcome back the migrating and hibernating animals. Which birds migrate back to Milwaukee in spring? When do chipmunks wake up from hibernation? Meet the plants and animals of Riverside Park and use your five senses to learn about the changes species undergo this time of year. Join us for a whole day of spring fun. 


 

Spring Adventure Day: Water, Water, Everywhere

Tuesday, April 16 | 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. | Menomonee Valley

What are watersheds? Let's find out! School's out so let's learn about Milwaukee’s rivers and explore through dip-netting, experiments, and hands-on activities. Get ready to ask questions, play games, make crafts and more!

Spring Adventure Day: Outdoor Sports 

Wednesday, April 17 | 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. | Washington Park

Did you feel cooped up this winter? Let's spend the day outside learning new games! Join us to fish, bike, hike and more. Explore and ask questions through outdoor play, games, and crafts. 


 

Spring Adventure Day: Earth Heroes 

Thursday, April 18 | 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. | Riverside Park

It's spring and school's out, let's get outside! Build shelters, learn the Leave No Trace practices of campfire cooking and head out on an orienteering course. Explore and ask questions through hikes, games, crafts and more! Join us for a whole day of spring fun. 


 

Spring Adventure Day: Habitat Hunt 

Friday, April 19 | 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. | Menomonee Valley

Get to know Milwaukee’s prairie, river and wetland habitats through hiking, dip-netting and meeting the species in our animal room. Explore and ask questions through games, crafts and more.

Spring Adventure Day: Creative Nature

Monday, April 22 | 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. | Washington Park

Time to explore and ask questions while we go fishing, take a tour of our animal room, hike, play games, make crafts and more! Bring home homemade journals and crafts to recount your day.
