With the full moon above and reflected city lights below, paddle down the Milwaukee River. See the city and the full moon as you never have before! Meet at the Milwaukee Rowing Club Boathouse @ 1900 N. Commerce St.

Night Kayak: Downtown Milwaukee
Join us for a Milwaukee River paddling experience as we kayak downriver from the Milwaukee Rowing Club Boathouse (1990 N Commerce St.). We’ll start with basic paddling techniques and water safety, then hit the water. We don't plan on getting wet, but dress comfortably in waterproof or quick-drying clothing in case of splashes! Boats, paddles, and PFDs provided. Weather dependent. Space is limited and registration is required.

Join us for the very last canoe program of the season! We’ll paddle around the Washington Park Lagoon and enjoy the early signs of fall from our canoes. This is your last chance to get on the Washington Park Lagoon before hanging up your paddle for the season! All skill levels welcome.

Kayaking for Beginners

The Washington Park Lagoon is a beautiful, calm and spacious body of water – a great place to learn the basics of paddling! Learn how to choose the right equipment, boating safety and paddling technique, then practice with guidance from one of our trained educators. Perfect for those who are new to paddling or just want some more practice.
