Does Your Child Want to be a Nature Ranger?

It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s a NATURE RANGER! Do you know a child, 5 years or older, who would like to be part of our new Nature Ranger after school program at the Urban Ecology Center?

Starting in October, this new program at our Riverside Park branch will engage kids in fun outdoor experiences on Monday and Tuesday from 4:00 – 5:30 PM. Parents will sign their kids up for Nature Rangers either for Monday or Tuesday afternoons for a two month period – that’s eight fun-filled sessions!

Educators will prepare fun and educational lesson plans for each week based on the Next Generation Science Standards to help reinforce the kids’ science education in their schools.

Sound like fun? Sign your child up today! There will be a small bimonthly fee of $10 (running parallel with the Center newsletters) to keep the availability of programs like this going. Scholarships will also be available.
