  • What We Do

    Urban Adventures

    Explore. Discover. Challenge. Grow.

Urban Adventures at the Urban Ecology Center are designed to get groups outside, working together, and having fun!  With these programs, you’ll have the opportunity to discover nature in the city, challenge each other to try new things, and develop a sense of camaraderie and work as a team.  Your group will broaden their experiences and learn from each other, while still having a great time and loads of fun. Our programs provide environmental education, build confidence, and strengthen teamwork and group dynamic skills, all while offering a special view on nature and the world around us.

    Whether you are. . .

    • A teacher or instructor looking to get your students out for some environmental education through a fun and active field trip
    • An after-school, summer, church, or youth group wanting to a new experience such as an obstacle course or canoe trip
    • A scout leader seeking to give your troops more variety
    • An athletic team looking for a unique workout, while still having fun and exploring our natural environment
    • An organization or business interested in setting up team building with your coworkers
