We are proud to share with you the Urban Ecology Center’s 2010-2011 Annual Report in multiple formats. View it as a video, a special e-publication or a PDF.
This report summarizes the highlights from the last fiscal year, a pivotal year for us as we continued to grow, serving more people and communities and restoring and protecting more land. We were hard at work connecting people with the outdoors in an effort to help them live healthy, informed, and abundant lifestyles. We hope you will take a few minutes to read through our annual report and learn more about how:
- We prepared to break ground on our third branch in the Menomonee Valley to expand our environmental education model.
- We focused our efforts on improving community engagement and improving and deepening our evaluation processes.
- We worked in partnership with public and private stakeholders on the creation of the Milwaukee Rotary Centennial Arboretum.
- We continued to be a front runner in science and environmental education in Milwaukee with our Neighborhood Environmental Education Project (NEEP) at both our Riverside Park and Washington Park branches.
There are opportunities to continue involvement at the Center at any level: attend a program, take part in an event or festival, volunteer, donate, sponsor a program, or become a member.
